Houses

The whole school voted in elections to decide on the house names.  All children and staff were then allocated into houses.

Pupils who exhibit the school's 'RESPECT Rules' can be rewarded with 'House Point Tokens'.

Respect moto

These are issued in house colours: yellow (Air); green (Earth); red (Fire); blue (Water).  'House Point Tokens' are collected in every classroom.  House Captains count the tokens in each room regularly and these are added to the 'House Board' in the hall.  The winning house at the end of the year receives the 'House Shield'.  'House Point Tokens' are given generously by all school staff.

Wall hanging

To commemorate the establishment of our four houses, all the children at Bliss contributed towards making a felt banner  depicting the elements.

The pupils worked with artist Heidi Street-Ward in the mobile classroom on Wednesday 27th September and/or Thursday 28th September. The finished banner looks spectacular and is now hanging in the hall.
